Bhagawan Shiva is also commonly known as the Abhishek Priya Devata. During the Abhisheka, the Shivalinga is bathed with milk as a symbol of purification of the mind. As a part of Shravan Sadhana, the Chinmaya Jayam Zone has decided to distribute milk to under-privileged children of the Bal Jeevan trust throughout the auspicious month of Shravan.

Chinmaya Jayam celebrated 109th Jayanti of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda with a Paduka Pooja. Yajman for the Pooja was Payal Shah.
There was chanting of Maha Mrutyunjaya Mantra and Shri Hanuman Chalisa for the well being of our armed forces.
