We at Chinmaya Prakash conducted the annual Geeta Chanting Competition 2020 on 12th and 13th December.
There were 107 participants, who had registered for the competition. Of these, 100 were students and the remaining seven were seniors belonging to Group H.
A majority of the students (51) belonged to Group D, followed by Group C (19), Group E (15), Group B (7) and Group F (5). Sixty- three students qualified for the final competition.
This year was very challenging, due to the pandemic. We had to conduct online chanting classes. Our Balavihar Sevikas and volunteers worked tirelessly to teach the students.
The elimination rounds and the final competition were conducted on Zoom.
With the blessings of The Almighty and Pujya Gurudev, we could successfully conduct the competition this year.
