Shishuvihar Sevak Training programme

The Shishuvihar Sevak Training Programme was conducted by Swamini Supriyananda, at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Kolwan on 29-30 June 2018. The programme had 34 participants from different parts of India and 27 students of YEP13. It was a wonderful experience, as Swaminiji explained each aspect of Shishuvihar in dept with innovative ideas for story telling, art and craft and way the bhajan and songs are sung during the session. Post this training, we look forward to Shishuvihar classes starting in different centers of India.

Jai Jai Jagadeeshwara Shishuvihar Camp

The 2nd Shishuvihar family camp based on Lord Shiva was conducted by Swamini Supriyananda and Swami Swatmananda at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Kolwan and was attended by 37 toddlers, 11 siblings and 88 adults. Swaminiji introduced toddlers to different aspects of Lord Shiva - riding on Nandi, holding the Trishul and Dumroo, Bilva patra having three leaves and Shivaji having three eyes. The children decorated beautiful Shivalingas and did the pooja along with their family members during the validectory session. It was an energetic and divine atmosphere during the morning yoga and chanting sessions, which the toddlers enjoyed with their parents.

Swami Swatmananda conducted sessions for elders, on importance of the Sanskrit language and how it was derived from the sound of Shivji’s dumroo and many more interesting facts. With the magical spell of monsoon and lush green surroundings, the camp was an beautiful experience.
