Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Delhi Arrival -Haridwar (230 kms/06 hr) (26th May)
Arrival Delhi Airport at 8am, Drive to Haridwar(6-7hrs). On the way visit
Patanjali Yogpeeth. Arrive Haridwar check into your hotel. After
freshen up visit Chandi Devi Temple and Manasa Devi Temple, Shanti
kunj Ashram. We will attend Ganga Aarti in the evening at Har ki
pauri.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot via Rishikesh (150 kms/05 hr)(27th May)
Drive towards Barkot. En-route visit Divine Life Society, Rishikesh,
Kempty falls. Check into hotels. Dinner & night stay at in Barkot.
Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (side)(28th May)
Early morning, Drive to Hanuman Chatti(Confluence of Ganga &
Yamuna), Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, trek start from here to
Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own
cost. Arrive Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and
dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund - Suryakund. Pilgrims take cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be
offered to Divya Shila, Return to Jankichatti. Drive back to Barkot,
Overnight stay.
Rituals in Yamunotri:
Snan in Tapt Kund Yamnotri , Yamuna Pujan in Divya Shila ,
Yamnotri Temple Darshan , Hanuman Temple and Lakhmandal
Temples.
Day 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) (29th May)
Drive to Uttarkashi. Check in Hotel. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple,
Annapurna Temple, Tapovan Ashram. Night Halt.
Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side)
(30th May)
Early morning drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil
is famous for its natural beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar
trees, and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the
sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform
Pooja and Darshan. Return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at
Uttarkashi.
Rituals in Gangotri
Gangotri temple darshan. Perform Snan at Gangotri Ghat (VIP Ghat),
Ganga Pujan & Aarti at Gangotri Ghat , Darshan of Bhagirath
Shila ,Darshan of Gauri Ganesha Temple, Gauri kund and Surya
Kund, Jalmagna Shivaling and Tapovan Kutir. While returning
Darshan of Gupteshwar Mahadev temple in Dharali.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) (31st May)
Drive straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute you
can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river
comes from Kedarnath. See Rudraprayag Sangam(Confluence of
Mandakini and Alaknanda).
Now we will drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi. On arrival
Check In at the Hotel, evening visit Vishwanath temple, Manikarnika
kund, Ardh Narishwar Temple and Chopta.
Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 07: Guptkashi –Kedarnath (30 Km- 1 Hr.- 14 Km Trek)(01st June)
We have to get ready early in the morning and will be dropped at the Trek
starting point for Kedarnath. Start the 14 km trek from here. Overnight
stay at the Kedarnath.
Also visit Apart from Kedarnath Temple, Ratus Kund, Gauri kund,
Shankaracharya Samadhi, Bhairavnath Temple, Madmaheshwar
Mandir, Vasuki Tal, Chorabari Tal, Pitra Kund, Ram Gufa.
Rituals at Kedarnath: Aarti in Kedarnath Temple.
Day 08: Kedarnath-Guptkashi (02nd June)
After Breakfast trek back to the dropped point, from here we will drive
towards Guptkashi and visit Sonprayag, Ukhimath, Triyuginarayan
temple. Night halt at Guptkashi.
Day 09: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215kms/7hr) (03rd June)
Drive to Badrinath via Adi Badri, Shankaracharya math(Joshimath),
Narasimha Temple, . Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath
Temple for Aarti. Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath - Rudraprayag (160kms/7hr) (04th
June)
Early morning, after having a bath in the Taptkund, Narad Kund, Surya
kund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting
sightseeing spot like Charan Paduka, Mana, Bhimpul, Vyas Gufa,
Keshavprayag, Maatamoorti. Just within the 3 kms of Badrinath
temple. Later in the afternoon drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath.
Check in Hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 11: Rudraprayag –Rishikesh- Delhi (400 kms/12 hr) (05th June)
Check out from hotel early morning and proceed to Rishikesh for White
water Rafting (16 Kms.) (INR 600/- Per Head on direct payment basis
at the spot) and then drive towards Delhi. Arrive at Chinmaya Centre World Understanding.
Day 12: Delhi Visits (06th June)
Visit the India Gate, Akshardam & Eternal Gandhi. Drive to Airport/Train
station

2. All the above places mentioned, we will try and cover, subject normal weather and time availability. In the Main 4 Dhams, whatever
is possible to see within time available, we will see.
3. Rituals are your choice and not compulsory. Cost has to be borne you.
4. Eligibility is those who are fit to trek and in the age group of 16 to 65 yrs
5. Accommodation will be on triple sharing basis. Double sharing will be Rs.5000/- extra. In some places like Kedarnath, we may have adjust in common halls due to limited accommodation available there.

• 9% Govt. Service Tax.
• Accommodation in A/c rooms except in Guptkashi & Uttarakashi.
• 03 individual 27 seat Bus for all transfers and sightseeing exactly
as per the Itinerary will be there for travel.
• A/c not applicable on hilly areas, only on plain areas.
• Meals- Breakfasts + Lunch+ Dinner Only (Veg only) & 2 time with snacks every day
Price Excludes:
• Any other meal not mentioned in price includes.
• Any other destination not mentioned in itinerary.
• Any Pony / Doli / Adventure activity Charges at the destination you
are visiting.
• Any monument entrance fees, camera fees.
• Any expenses of personal nature.
• A personal expense like portage/laundry/phone calls/tipping etc.
• Any extra meals or Room service
• Travel Insurance
• Air or Rail fare
8. Please consult driver / local representative for next day’s sightseeing
schedule / Transfers timings. If any passenger fails to follow timings
given to him, then he may miss that particular sightseeing / transfers
and Chinmaya Mission will not be responsible to arrange the same.He/She needs to arrange the same on direct payment basis.
9. It is mandatory to carry photo ID card (except Pan Card) while you on tour. Chinmaya Mission shall not be responsible for any change the itinerary due to strikes, landslides, flight cancellations, weather
conditions, government enforcements or any unforeseen circumstances
which are beyond our control. The additional cost incurred will be addition to the cost and directly payable
Donation:
• INR 27,000/- on triple sharing basis.
INR 32,000/- on twin sharing basis.
• Payment can be done by cheque in the name of - “Chinmaya Seva
Trust” or via NEFT.
• The entire donation is non-refundable in the event of any
cancellation by the participant.
