Class started with invocation and Guru Strotram was played. It was followed by each student sharing their learnings from Gurudev’s diary “My Trek Through Uttarakhand”
Some learnings shared by class members
Gurudev had Dridh Nishchaya so he overcame all physical difficulties of the trek.
Gurudev loved nature and saw poetry in everything...
Compassionate by nature.. taking care of everyone around him including animals..
Gurudev had lots of determination and whatever he decided, would do without complaining...
We must take God’s name in every situation without excuses. Even in fever Gurudev was chanting Shiva, Shiva.
Faith, Shraddha and Prem are required on the spiritual path.
All knowledge, Bliss is the real essence within us.
Even when challenges come in life, we should find humour in everything and laugh it away as that will keep us grounded.
Body identification wasn’t there for Gurudev. He broke his comfort zone.
Gurudev lived the four fold qualifications...
Whatever one gives, one should give without ego.
Gurudev’s Namavalli was chanted by Alka Sadarangani in her divine voice which left all enchanted.
Aarti was performed by Aditi and Namrata Agarwalla.
Pledge and then Prarthna mantra was played.
