Vasant Panchmi is the birthday of Mother Saraswati, the presiding Deity of knowledge. We pray to her for Vidya, Dana and Faith to gain knowledge. Logic can fail, but faith never fails. Through Shree Sharda Stotram he explained the different aspects and symbolism of Mother Saraswati – She is the River of Nectar who removes all Sorrows of Samsara, She is Devi Bhadrakali, the Goddess of Auspicious Time, She is with a form as well as the feminine formless Brahman, She is the Nature of Consciousness, She is the Life Principle.
After the insightful talk, Shree Saraswati Puja was performed with deep devotion by all.
