Spirit of India, a charity concert by Shri Sonu Nigam, held on 13th December at Shanmukhananda Hall was a rocking start to the Chinmaya Anand Utsav. Sonuji ignited the patriotic spark and devotion for the Lord and Pujya Gurudev in each one of us with his wonderful performance. Filling in for Shri Shankar Mahadevan at a very short notice, he mesmerised the audience with his melodious music, consisting of patriotic and spiritual songs and bhajans. He sang many songs on stage for the first time and the audience often joined in chorus, clapping and cheering, with their hearts filled with love and reverence.
