Devi group of chembur organized a special way of welcoming 2019 in the unique , Chinmaya way. On 31st December 2018, over 75 devotees gathered at around 9.00 p.m. at Saraswati Vidyalaya , Chembur to welcome the new year.
The atmosphere got charged up with a devotional rendering of vishnu sahasranamam along with puja followed by bhajans. Dr. Narayanan volunteered to conduct the vidihis and guided the proceedings. The new year was welcomed by singing of new year song composed by Guruji. The chanting team was led by Shyamala Acharya, Jaya Mani and Ujwala Acharya
Special bus arrangements were made for reaching the senior citizens back home .Devotees were given prasad which was sponsored by Devi group.
