Chinmaya Shishu Vihar is the youngest wing of Chinmaya Mission and is for infants and toddlers in the age group of 0-5 years. Shishu Vihar was conceptulised by Swamini Supriyananda, Hong Kong and has grown globally in the last few years. In India, Shishu Vihar classes are running in Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Calcutta and Chennai.

Indian tradition has always believed in the significance of imparting values to children early, even as early as the pre-natal stage. Shishu Vihar strives to provide opportunities for this, thereby enabling spiritual development through cultural education. Classes follow a structure of mother-toddler where children learn through songs, stories, arts and crafts, appropriate to their age and development. The accompanying mothers or guardians then take the rhymes and stories home and enjoy reading and singing them with their children and extended family.
