In Smt Veena Thadani s home, under our in-house Swamini Bhoomanandaji guidance, the
Pooja started with chanting of Kanakadhara Stotram. Swaminiji explained the story behind it
which was followed by a short speech by Ms Maya Nandakishore on the essence of Shree
Mahalakshmi Ashtakam, the different forms Devi takes for her devotees and the story behind
Kolhapur Mahalakshmi temple. The Ashtakam was chanted 11 times and concluded with the
sloka “Sarva Mangala Mangalye” from Durga Sapta slokam and Mahalakshmi aarti.
