Chinmaya Narayan zone started the Tanno Lakshmi Prachodayat initiative in Ms Shyama
Acharya s home on 10 th March. The Mahalakshmi Ashtakam was chanted 11 times and
concluded with the sloka “Sarva Mangala Mangalye “from Durga Sapta slokam and
Mahalakshmi Aarti. Before the Aarti, a small explanation was given about the Ashtakam by
Ms Maya Nandakishore and the story behind Kolhapur Mahalakshmi temple. Prasadam was
offered and everyone who attended sincerely participated and chanted to get the grace of
Mahalakshmi.
