As Navaratri began, the Narayan zone CHYKs delved into understanding the cultural and spiritual symbolism, of the 9-day festival of Mother Goddess. Keeping with the festive spirit, on Durgashtami day, they assembled to participate in a unique treasure hunt, with interesting clues based on Navaratri / Devi theme. With each clue they deciphered, they inched closer and closer to connecting with the significance of Devi Shakti and its practical relevance in life. After a thoroughly enjoyable contest between the teams, they came together and joined hands to dance around in a circle - the traditional Garba - in joyful abandon. The colourful, ethnic attires, energizing music, vibrant dance and the cheerful mood of the youngsters fully echoed the joy and spirit of the Navratri festival.
