On Sankara Jayanti, Swami Swatmanandaji, along with devotees from Narayan zone, visited Sankara Mutt, Sharada Mandir. Chembur. At the Mattham, Totakaashtakam, Ashtotthara Shatha Namavali (108 names of Bhagawan Adi Sankara) and Mrutyunjaya mantras were chanted in chorus. Thereafter Swamiji was introduced to many office bearers (sevaks) of the temple. The temple authorities requested Swamiji and the Chinmaya Mission to conduct more activities at the mutt.
