Highlights of the Maha Mrityunjay Havan:

On 25th August, the Chinmaya Jayam zone organized a Maha Mrityunjay Havan to conclude the Shravan Somvar Sadhana. About 25 devotees gathered on a rainy Monday at the Bandra Hindu Association to worship Lord Shiva, and seek blessings for their spiritual growth and well being.

The event commenced with sankalpa taken on behalf of the Yajmans before performing the Havan. This was followed by the Maha Mrityunjay Havan performed by the Mukhya and Upa Yajmans under the guidance of Br. Samartha Chaitanya.

Havan ahuti was offered by the Yajmans and the Maha Mrityunjay Mantra was chanted 108 times.

The Havan was then followed by devotional chanting of the Kashi Vishwanath stotram and the Linga Ashtakam.

The session concluded by our Trustee Anjali Ji giving her vote of thanks to Samartha Ji and to all the devotees gathered.
