    The year 2018 ended on a very happy note for 67 Bala Vihar children who attended the Annual Winter Camp held at Chinmaya Prerana, Kharghar. The theme of the camp was 24 Gurus introduced by Swami Medhajananda.   • Geeta Jayanti Celebration Bala Vihar - Junior Group

    Children came in colourful traditional dresses. After invocation prayers, sevika Vijaya narrated the story of Pandavas and Kauravas and the Kurukshetra war. She explained the values in the Geeta, such as working together in yagna spirit for the good of all, duties of children, accepting the results as prasad just like we accept sweets, flower or water with bhakti, importance of focus and concentration for success .with this background they could relate the Gita slokas they were learning & chanting Dec 22, 2018

  • GHAR GHAR MEIN SATSANG

    The family of Late Usha ji Vij held a satsang at their residence at Marine Drive on the 19th of December, in her memory. Gurudev's Paduka Pooja was performed with a lot of dedication and love by Smt. Neelam Mani, (her first!!) under the expert guidance of Smt. Sandhya ji Oberoi. We then chanted Chapters 12 and 15 of The Bhagvad Geeta. Gurudev's presence was palpable and strongly felt by all 12 attendees as we offered a "bhaavpoorna shraddhanjali" to one of HIS most devout and staunch devotees. Dec 19, 2018

    Geeta Jayanti and Tapovan Jayanti celebrations were on 19th December 2018, in the presence of Swamini Krishnapriyananda. Tapovan Ashtakam was chanted first, then Tapovan Namavali. Then followed the chanting of all 18 chapters of Bhagawad Geeta. Krishnapriyanandaji gave a brief talk on Tapovan Maharaj’s life which was very inspiring. The event concluded with aarti and prasad.
