Vasant Panchami was celebrated in Sagar Zone on 16th February from 9.00am to 10.00am on Zoom.
Devi Saraswati is Shruti Devi - Sentient Knowledge. To gain this knowledge, Her grace is required. Pujya Gurudev said that Shruti Maataa is very shy. If one goes to Her arrogantly, She'll veil but when one surrenders and sits at Her feet, She'll reveal slowly and knowledge will dawn upon one, like a lotus blooms on its own.
Let us pray that Mother Saraswati blesses us with the ability to speak well, give us clarity of thought, appropriateness of words and nobility of ideas. By worshipping her we gain Brahma Vidya, humility, dispassion and devotion.
38 devotees participated in the Pooja. Smt. Tripti Doshi chanted the divine Saraswati Stotram and Smt. Neelam Mani rendered a melodious bhajan followed by a cute rendition of 'He Sharde Ma' by a Balavihar child Dhairya Chaurasia. The pooja ended with the Saraswati Aarti sung by Neelam.
