Sw. Bodhatmananda ji started of his talks in South Mumbai by addressing a group of Devi Group ladies on Thursday 6th February at Panchsheel, Churchgate. The session was hosted by Smt. Sheela Chitnis and her study classes. The topic of the talk was 'तेषा़ ददामि बुद्धियोगं' - To the Ever Steadfast, worshipping Me with love, I give them Buddhi yoga, by which they come to me"
Swamiji began by explaining what a bhakta is using definitions from Chapter 7, and continued to explain what exactly is implied by 'Ever Steadfast' 'worshipping Me with love' using shlokas from Chapter 9.
Swamji then proceeded to explain stages/levels of perception of a bhakta about God, what exactly is a bhakta’s responsibility, and how God helps by providing him with a conducive environment for his spiritual growth. Which finally culminates in the bhakta getting Knowledge of the Self.
