Geeta Jayanti was celebrated on Sunday, 16th December in Chinmaya Prakash Zone with Sampoorna Geeta Parayan (chanting of all 18 chapters) in presence of Swami Swatmanandaji at Mayor’s hall in Juhu Lane, Andheri West. Swamiji mentioned that Geeta Jayanti day also happens to be the Birthday of Pujya Swami Tapovan Maharaj (Guru of Pujya Gurudev). Swamiji indicated that Pujya Gurudev had told us to “Chant-Study-Know-Live” Geeta. Tapovan Shatakam was chanted first and thereafter chanting of all 18 chapters was done which went on for about 3 ½ hours. Around 60 devotees attended the same.
