Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2017

Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2017

Report at a glance

Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2017, was conducted in eight zones of Mumbai during the period from November 2017 to February 2018.

CGF 2017 was a year of success for us, considering the fact that we could reach around 13400 participants . While we say this , it is also an year of reckoning for all of us to do better in coming years and take Gurudev’s vision to more children and households.

The major highlight of Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2017 was the introduction of two new age groups in the year 2016 i.e G and H groups. I

G group for 16 to 30 yrs and

H Group for 31 to 70 yrs

There was a significant increase in the participation in the H group which were mostly ‘on the spot’ registrations.

This year, we had the Preliminary and Area Final levels only and no All Mumbai Finals.

Geeta dhoota camp which was organized in all the zones was a great enabler in organizing this fest successfully .

Last year, we had around 20 schools giving 200+ participation.

Now , would like to present the highlights of CGF 2017 : ( PPT )
