The year 2018 ended on a very happy note for 67 Bala Vihar children who attended the Annual Winter Camp held at Chinmaya Prerana, Kharghar. The theme of the camp was 24 Gurus introduced by Swami Medhajananda. Swami Siddheshananda took the children on the journey of 24 gurus and Swamini Swaprabhananda had special sessions with the campers. Lot of fun activities like Art Mela and Games Mela were conducted. Daily workshops were held where children learnt about five elemental gurus and five senses gurus through activities. They were taught bhajans. On the concluding day, the campers were fortunate to perform Gayatri Havan. The entire ashram reverberated with peace and positivity during these four days. As feedback, campers expressed that they had learnt the qualities of humanity, patience, kindness, humility etc., enjoyed their food and made friends. Many expressed their wish to come back for similar camps.
