‘Eco-friendly’ Ganesha came to Chinmaya Priyam, when devotees welcomed the Lord with Bhajans and Abhishek. Swami Swatmanandaji called the Lord ‘Chinmaya Priyam Ganadheesh’. Every evening, from 13th to 17th September, there was chanting of Ganapati Atharvashirsha and bhajans by Swamiji and devotees, followed by aarti and prasad.
On 17th September, during visarjan, Shishu Vihar and Bala Vihar children joined in and witnessed the dissolution of the form of the Lord into the Formless. During these days, Swamiji was invited by local devotees, who hosted satsang with him in their homes. Swamiji narrated various aspects of the birth and form of Sri Ganesha, particularly from the spiritual standpoint. Ganapati Bappa Morya!
